Health Concerns Empty Health Concerns

Post by Mr.Teacher Fri Aug 01, 2008 8:18 pm

Parents,
Childhood diseases seem to be on the rise. Diseases such as whooping cough are preventable. School systems are supposed to required shots before entry into school. It is not unusual for students to spend time in the classroom before shots/medical information are completed.
Teachers are not accountable for such "oversights" they are given a list of who can come in and the school clears new students before entry. When teachers try to contact parents, it is not unusual for information on forms to be old, incorrect, and/or incomplete. Parents must be accountable for health and academic issues among others.
